Although the limited beta for Counter-Strike 2 has been made available, allowing a variety of streamers, developers, and teams to test it out, Steam has still left many leading leaders of the scene and streaming community asking for access.
To start o023, the excitement for Counter-Strike 2 was insane, almost to the point of obsession. It’s been a journey, starting with new NVIDIA driver leaks, going through Richard Lewis’ reports, and ending with fans anxiously tracking each Steam database upgrade for the game. And ultimately, on March 22nd, Valve secretly launched it met with great excitement.
Yet the problem is that not everyone can join in directly away. Some of the game’s most major characters have been kept out of the beta’s original announcement since only a small number of players were granted access. Making them beg the developers for a beta invitation
Who was Left without Access to The Counter-Strike 2 Beta?
In a tweet, WarOwl, a longstanding game producer and veritable CSGO master, slammed Valve for the patchy beta accessibility.
I know I’m not owed anything, but this is my career; I’ve been attempting to cover CS: GO for over ten years, and without direct connections, I’m screwed from doing my job. He would eventually get access hours later but regrets having to crawl for it.
Neymar Jr., who you may only be familiar with as a football star, is a huge CSGO fan. He frequently streams himself, pugging on Difficulties in managing. He has an extremely impressive collection of skins.
Despite being one of the most well-known Brazilian CSGO streamers and likely Brazil’s absolute legend, he was denied the beta on the first day.
XQc’s CSGO streaming has been a fan favorite lack of technical talent in the game is always an entertaining view for many. Watching tarik stream CS2, xQc criticized his difficulty in playing the game simultaneously. But, the Juicer’s denial of access resulted from his inability to respond when the official CS tweet account repeatedly approached him.
Not everyone has been left behind, including content creators. Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, a prominent AWPer, and G2’s IGL Rasmus “Hooxi” Nielsen were also excluded from the beta while players nearby were enjoying it.
It simply proves how irrational the release was since even players of FaZe Clan, IGL Finn “karrigan” Andersen, and AWPer Helvijs “broke” Saukants, were not permitted to participate in it.
As a result, many CS fans are upset that other players are getting in front of the line on day one while known stars of the games were not prioritized. It’s all up to chance for now, but maybe in the coming days and weeks, Valve will gradually let the fun begin.
