E
European Wheel
This is the name given to the wheel that only features a single zero (0). Invented by two brothers, Louis and Francois Blanc in 1843, this variation of the wheel has been favoured more by European and Asian casino players, in comparison to the American Roulette wheel.

This refers to bets with odds of 1:1 such as red, black, odd, even, low and high. These are known as even money bets as there is an equal chance of winning as there is of losing. There is just below a 50% chance of winning an even money bet, due to the green zero(s) in play – these pocketed compartments do not count towards the categories of the bets.
