When does The Mandalorian season 3, episode 3 come out?
The third episode of The Mandalorian season 3, titled “Chapter 19”, will premiere on Disney Plus. It’s next Wednesday, March 15 2023. It will debut in the same time slot both previous episodes of the season premiered, arriving at midnight PT for those on the West Coast, 3:00 a.m. ET for those on the East Coast, and 2:00 a.m. CT for those in the Central Time zone.
The show will follow the same release pattern for its remaining episodes, with each new instalment arriving on Wednesdays for the next six weeks. And if you’re worried about what the future holds for the show, fear not as season 4 is already in development!
What Happened in the Previous Episode of The Mandalorian Season 3?
In the previous episode, Mando and Grogu made a brief visit to Peli Motto to locate the missing part of IG-11. Peli Motto recommended that Mando take R5-D4, an astromech droid, with him to Mandalore as it seemed suited for adventure. Together with R5-D4, Mando and Grogu travelled to Mandalore.
Mando was then attacked by creatures called Alamites and captured by a cyborg insectoid driving a spider tank. While Grogu fled to seek help, Bo-Katan came to their rescue, killing the cyborg insectoid and freeing Mando.
The Mandalorian season 3 plot: What will the third season be about?
The official synopsis of the series reads: “The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu.
“Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”
This… doesn’t tell us that much, but the possibilities are endless. The end of season two felt like a pretty final point in The Mandalorian, leaving a lot of speculation as to what will happen in season three.
Initially, it was believed the post-credits scene might have been included in the set-up. A whole new story revolving around Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen). Well, it did: but it was The Book of Boba Fett. Not strictly a Mandalorian storyline per se, so much as a spin-off taking place alongside the Mandalorian arc.
