While The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5 could have been called The Seven Deadly Sins: New Holy War based on the way the last season ended, it seems that the title is going with a heavier meaning. Now the question is that whether the final chapter of the story will once again be handled by a new main staff at Studio DEEN instead of A-1 Pictures, which has been focused on the Sword Art Online anime series. Now, you must be wondering about DEEN?
Well, it is well-known for its amazing KonoSuba anime adaptation and the KonoSuba: Legend of Crimson movie, but the way they handled the Sins adaptation has been heavily criticized by anime fans for its sub-par art and animation. Manga fans were looking forward to certain fight scenes to be animated only to be disappointed by the outcome. Surprisingly, even blood was censored by being turned from red to white splashes. The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5 release date

Well, its second season has just only four OVA episodes and thus Netflix treats it as the first season only. But as per the original network of the anime, the upcoming season will be considered as the fifth one only. So if we talk about Season 5, some might even take it as season 4. It’s not like that now.

On March 25, 2020, the official website of the anime has released the trailer for season 5 with the announcement that it will be streaming by October 2020. The trailer hadn’t received much positive response because of the poor quality of animation.
