Ted Lasso star Juno Temple is in negotiations to join the cast of Tom Hardy-led Venom 3. According to the entertainment news portal The Hollywood Reporter, the actor may essay the role of an “existing Marvel character”.
However, Hardy will reprise his role as journalist Eddie Brock aka anti-hero Venom. Also, he played in the franchise’s first two movies — Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The new movie will mark the directorial debut of Kelly Marcel. He got into the superhero film series after 2018’s Venom. He got credited as one of the writers of the movie.

Therefore, Ted Lasso’ standout Juno Temple seems to be trading soccer stars for comic-book antiheroes. As the actress is in negotiations for a lead role in Sony and Marvel’s ‘Venom 3’.

She’s next ready to star in FX’s ‘Fargo’. She led the Season 5 cast alongside Jon Hamm and Jennifer Jason Leigh. However, Temple is represented by UTA, B-Side Management, Maison 2 and Lichter Grossman Nichols.
So, Marcel and Hardy developed the story for ‘Venom 3’ with Marcel handling the screenplay. The duo also wrote and produced the first two ‘Venom’ instalments. It returns to produce the film alongside Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker.

With the series coming to an end, Temple already has been busy setting up that future slate. So, she started with the hit FX anthology series Fargo. The fifth season is about to wrap shooting, and she is set to be front and centre of Noah Hawley’s latest instalment of the series.
Tom Hardy shares script cover for ‘Venom 3’
The greatest inevitability of Sony’s Spider-Man cinematic universe just took another step forward. Tom Hardy teased the script cover for the upcoming third Venom movie. However, the Venom franchise kicked off the shared universe back in 2018. It came with the sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage in 2021.
Therefore, we’ve known about a Venom trilogy since before the release of the character’s debut, with Tom Hardy confirming in August 2018 that he signed on for three Venom films.
