The youth who will be joining the army will be called Agniveer. In fact, the chiefs of the three services also gave a presentation of this plan to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. So the government will recruit the youth to the army for a short time. This is actually a part of the government’s efforts to reduce the expenditure and lifespan of the defense forces. Therefore, after every four years, around 80 percent of the soldiers will retire.

How Much Salary will The Agniveers Receive Under This Scheme?
So under this scheme, the youth will get an annual package of 4.76 lakh for the first year. Moreover, by the end of the fourth year, the salary will increase to 6.92 lakh. In fact, apart from this, other risk and hardship allowances will also be available. At the same time, the government will provide a service fund of Rs. 11.7 lakh to the youth, which will be tax-free.
In fact, one good news is that the recruitment of Agniveers will be conducted all over the country. All those candidates who will crack the selection process will serve the army for four years as Agniveer. However, they have to leave the job after the expiry of the term. So after this, they will be able to lead the life of a skilled citizen.
According to the army’s requirement, they can recruit 25 percent of the Agniveers in the regular cadre. The jawans will get training of 10 weeks to 6 months. So if you are 17 years and a half to 21 years, you will be eligible for this job.
