The highly expected physiological thriller series, ‘YOU’ is finally returning as You Season 4. It is on the streaming platform for its new season.
Netflix’s popular stalker drama series is returning soon for its fourth season. It means you can finally stop searching the internet for information and watch the show.
However, it is important to manage your expectations for only the first half of the fourth season. It will be available on February 9. Also, you will have to wait another month for the second half. On the bright side, that gives you more time to come up with theories about this show.
Here is everything we know about season 4.
Your Season 4 release date
Season 4 of You will consist of 10 episodes split into two five-episode batches. The first half is scheduled to launch on Feb. 9 (it was originally set for Feb. 10). Part 2 will now premiere on March 9.
Filming started on March 21, 2022, in London and wrapped up on Aug. 27, 2022.
Your Season 4 trailer
Netflix dropped the official trailer for Season 4 Part 1 on Jan. 9, giving us a preview of what to get excited about in the new season. It looks as juicy as ever, with lots of glitz and glamour among Joe’s new “friends.” Joe has a new persona as a professor in London.
Badgley previously teased the season to Entertainment Tonight, saying, “The tone is similar but it’s shifting in that there is a different format…It’s almost like we’re shifting the genre slightly.” The genre, of course, is a whodunit murder mystery, according to Netflix. This time, the shoe is on the other foot and Joe is the one being stalked.
In September 2022, the announcement of the Season 4 release date came with a video catching fans up on what Joe has been up to since we saw him last. It also introduced us to a pool of new potential victims and suspects in his orbit as he’s taken up residence across the pond. In addition to his signature baseball cap, Joe has worn many hats in the past. From humble beginnings working in a bookstore, Joe’s career has now evolved to a PhD. Meet Professor Jonathan Moore, the new alias Joe has adopted for his life in London.
Your Season 4 cast
After Joe left his suburban life in Madre Linda, there are a slew of new characters joining the cast for Season 4. Badgley returns as Joe Goldberg under the alias of Jonathan Moore, and the recent trailer confirmed we’ll be seeing Tati Gabrielle back as Marianne Bellamy.
Other new cast members include Niccy Lin, Aidan Cheng, Ozioma Whenu, Dario Coates, Sean Pertwee, Brad Alexander, Alison Pargeter and Adam James.
How many episodes in You Season 4?
You Season 4 will have a total of 10 episodes split across two parts. Five episodes will drop with Part 1 and the other five will drop in Part 2.
What will happen in Season 4 part 2?
At the end of part 1, Joe earned blames for being the Eat The Rich killer during a visit to Lady Phoebe’s Hampsie country estate. Ronald chased him in the woods but it’s soon revealed that Rhys Montrose was behind the whole thing all along.
Rhys reveals to Joe that he killed his friends and also intends to pin the whole thing on Roald. Having done extensive research into Joe’s past and his murders along the way (yep, Rhys was also Joe’s stalker), he tells Joe to kill Roald so they can frame the dead man.
Joe doesn’t go through with it because he’s a changed man, and the final shot of the season shows Rhys officially announcing his candidacy for London Mayor.
Part 2 will likely follow Joe as he attempts to expose the truth behind the murders, while also trying to avoid blaming himself.
