Actor Zoey Deutch will be a part of Clint Eastwood’s upcoming film Juror #2. The 92-year-old popular filmmaker’s latest project is a thriller for his longtime studio Warner Bros.
“Juror No. 2” is a legal drama taking place during a murder trial. Also, it is centred around a juror (played by Hoult). He realises that he may be the murderer and struggles with the dilemma of turning himself in or manipulating the jury to get away with the crime. Collette will play the prosecutor.
Therefore, Eastwood is producing the movie with Adam Goodman. He is the former production president of Paramount-turned-producer who now runs his banner, Dichotomy.
However, Tim Moore, Matt Skiena, and Jessica Meier are also producing. Also, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell will produce.

Legendary actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood is closing in on his next project, with plans to direct “Juror No. 2.”
However, The legal drama is set up at Warner Bros., with Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette circling the lead roles. Eastwood will direct from a script by Jonathan Abrams. Also, he will produce the project alongside Adam Goodman, Tim Moore, Jessica Meier and Matt Skiena. Executive producers are Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Jeremy Bell.
Warner Bros. is nearing a green light on the project, with a production start eyed for June, following Eastwood’s 93rd birthday on May 31.
Hoult stars in “Renfield,” Universal’s horror comedy which debuts in theatres this weekend. Also, a third season of Hulu’s “The Great” is debuting next month. He’s ready to star in Robert Eggers’ “Nosferatu,” opposite Willem Dafoe, Emma Corin and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Hoult is repped by UTA.

Nicholas Hoult and Toni Collette both had new movies out this past weekend. Hoult in the horror comedy ‘Renfield’ and Collette starring in ‘Mamma Mafia’. Also, they are now busy making deals to star for Clint Eastwood in a future movie.
According to Giant Freakin’ Robot, the respected actor/director is aiming to make the legal thriller ‘Juror #2’ as his next film after 2021’s Western-flavoured ‘Cry Macho’. He starred in that film, but it appears he’s ready to just direct this one for regular studio home Warner Bros. (though we could still see him popping up as a grumpy judge).
What’s the story of the movie?
Written by Jonathan Abrams, ‘Juror #2’ will follow a member of the jury of a murder trial. He suspects he may have had some part in the victim’s death. Possibly killed himself in a vehicular accident. Also, he is in a moral conundrum of whether to use his secret to sway the jury away and protect himself. He turns himself into the justice system he is participating in. However, Hoult will be playing the lead role of the juror, with Collette as the district attorney on the case.
Oscar-winner Eastwood had reportedly been weighing several scripts. Also, in recent months zeroed in on this film and began having talks with A-list talent to star, finally landing on Hoult and Collette.
