Doing yoga daily is good for the body. There are lots of poses in yoga that helps you to take care of every part of your body. It also gives calmness to the mind so you can feel at ease. 1. Downward Dog

This yoga posture called the downward dog because you need to bend down on your legs and arms for this pose. This pose will lengthen the spine and strengthen the arms. People who sit on the computer all day will feel energised if they try this yoga pose because the oxygen will travel to the brain and all parts of the body. Moreover, this yoga posture will also offer you calm and peace.

2. The Warrior I

You have to perform this posture by standing and raising your one hand upward. This posture will help you to give strength to the legs and also will open the chest and shoulders. These are movements we do not usually perform in our daily lives. Therefore practising this posture daily can keep the body healthy. This posture will strengthen the knees, spine, shoulders and more.

3. Triangle

This is one of the postures that will offer a lot of good effects on the body and mind. A person doing the posture will form a triangular shape by keeping the legs apart and touching one leg with the hand and then they will try to keep the other hand upward. If there is any stiffness in the body this posture will get rid of it all. Balancing is a thing you will learn gradually in this pose. But you can become an expert at it if you practice it daily.

4. Boat

You have to sit on the floor and hold your legs by your hands to form a boat- like pose. This means you have to stay like that for a while without any movements. This pose is not easy to perform but when you perfect it this will help you to make your abdominal strong.

5. Arm Balance

This pose is one of the advanced forms of yoga. This helps in the flow of blood to the brain and thereby all parts of the body. It also strengthens the arm. You can use the wall for support if you want to do it.

6. King Dancer

This yoga posture will strengthen the arms and legs. It helps to improve the balance in your body. You can make your movements graceful by perfecting this pose. It is like a dance movement.

7. Corpse

This form of yoga looks simple however this helps you to channelize your thoughts to your inner self. It lessens the blood pressure and helps you to calm down.

8. Tree

This yoga pose may look simple however this also requires lots of practice. You must stand straight with your hands doing the Namaste. Then you have to position the legs in the right way and stand like a tree. Your back must be straight and properly aligned when doing the pose.
