Facial care

There are many facial spa treatments that suit your skin type. For oily skin prone to acne, you will find remedies for blackheads or peels that cleanse and brighten the skin of the face. For mature skin, you will find treatments that regenerate and rejuvenate the skin, aimed at combating wrinkles. For sensitive skin, moisturizing and toning treatments are suitable to make the complexion smoother and brighter. Each facial treatment lasts about 1 hour and consists of peeling and massage of the face and decollete area. The spa uses only high-quality products that have passed dermatological tests.

Body care

The most classic spa treatment is massage. We offer a wide range of body treatments tailored to everyone’s desires and needs. In the relaxing massage sessions, you will find Balinese massage combining Chinese and Thai techniques performed with mona butter. Invigorating massages with Polynesian modeling, performed using coconut oil, are waiting for you. Hot stone massage or cupping massage is also available. Slimming massage is designed to smooth and strengthen the skin, affecting the dimples on the hips, abdomen and arms. There are many other body treatments that target the entire body or specific areas of it (feet, legs, scalp, etc.).

Exfoliation and peeling

Cleansing the face is a daily necessity. This procedure should be performed 2-3 times a week to remove deep impurities from the face and keep the skin smooth. Body scrubs should be done twice a week. At the spa, the scrub will be tailored to your skin type to ensure the best results during your facial or body care routine.

Masks and wraps

The wrap is designed for the whole body, and the mask is for the face.

The principle of these procedures is simple: the desired area is treated with a product or paste tailored to your skin type, and left for about ten minutes so that the product is properly absorbed into the skin.

Wraps and masks have numerous benefits such as detoxification, stress relief, skin cleansing and hydration, but it is also a relaxation for wellness and beauty.

Lipomodeling

Lipomodeling is performed in spas and institutes. It allows you to model, smooth and strengthen the skin using a method called palpation-rolling. The principle is to move fat from one area to another using a device operated by a cosmetologist who performs the massage. The process is painless. Lipomodeling can be combined with massage for weight loss and a balanced diet that promotes weight loss.

Hydrotherapeutic treatments: hot tubs and jet showers

Hydrotherapy is an effective method of treating certain diseases and conditions. The beneficial properties of thermal or seawater are used for the procedures. There are two types of usage:

  • In thalassotherapy, seawater helps to relieve pain or treat certain diseases. During the treatment of patients, the water is heated to a temperature of 31 to 35 °C;
  • In thermal resorts, thermal water is used to treat the guests of the resort. This type of treatment is supervised by a medical team.

LED lighting and chromotherapy

Chromotherapy is the art of using color for therapeutic purposes. This method of harmonization and therapeutic care involves the use of LED pulsed light lamps. Colors work deep in cells, healing physical and emotional disorders. This treatment supports the senses, such as vision. It is said that colors have a direct effect on the patient’s mind and body.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is the effect of extremely low temperatures on the body. The principle is to close the entire body in a cabin for 2-3 minutes, which is filled with very cold and very dry air with temperatures up to -150 °C. This cold therapy has an effect on:

  • on blood vessels, endorphins, release of anti-inflammatory molecules, heart rate, etc;
  • recovery, commonly used by top athletes for better and faster recovery after competition;
  • chronic pain by affecting pain receptors and nerve transmission, as well as releasing anti-inflammatory molecules.

Infrared radiation treatment

Infrared radiation transfers heat at temperatures from 38°C to 40°C. This type of treatment helps to remove toxins and pollutants accumulated in the body. This provides deep relaxation by stimulating blood circulation.

This natural treatment is a therapeutic alternative and has many advantages such as:

  • strengthening the immune system;
  • detoxification;
  • relieving pain and contractures;
  • improving metabolism.

Pressotherapy procedures

Pressotherapy is a procedure in which pressure is applied using an air compressor. It helps to stimulate blood and lymph circulation.

The benefits are as follows: increased venous and lymphatic flow helps to eliminate toxins and, therefore, stimulates the body to eliminate fat and water. But this procedure also has a relaxing effect and makes it easier to fight fatigue.

Spa treatments are a great way to relax, recharge, and restore balance. From classic massages to unique therapies like sound healing and seaweed wraps, wellness centres offer a wide range of options. Here are 10 of the most popular and original treatments to help you unwind and feel your best.
