The official trailer for the upcoming supernatural horror film The Boogeyman has been released by 20th Century Studios. The trailer depicts a child’s worst nightmare coming true in the form of a monster hiding under their bed. The movie is an adaptation of one of Stephen King’s most terrifying short stories.

The psychiatric doctor of a father has no idea. One of his patients has brought a monster into the house.
At first, the movie would only be viewable on the streaming service Hulu. The filmmakers were persuaded to go with a wide theatrical release rather than a test screening in December 2022 due to their overwhelmingly positive response to the film.

Stephen King’s short story
The story centred on a psychiatrist who was confronted by a patient who claimed to have been the target of a supernatural assault. The patient came to the psychiatrist for help. In spite of his denials, the creature proceeded to make the doctor its next victim.
According to the official synopsis, after their mother passes away in a tragic accident. Then she struggles to get their grieving father’s attention before it is too late,” after their mother’s death.
Expected Release Date
Comedies and dramas have struggled at the box office since the outbreak, but horror has thrived. The Boogeyman is eager to capitalize on this trend. The Stephen King adaptation faces a difficult opening weekend due to the simultaneous release of Sony Pictures Animation’s highly anticipated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (June 2). However, it is positioned to be good counterprogramming for more mature audiences and might do fairly well if enough favourable word of mouth is generated both before and after its debut.
Chris Messina, who plays the role of Dr Will Harper, is their real father. The remaining members of the cast are David Dastmalchian (who plays Lester Billings), Marin Ireland (who plays Rita Billings), Madison Hu, and LisaGay Hamilton.
Rob Savage, who had previously hosted the show, served as director, and Scott Beck, Emily Morris, and Bryan Woods served as producers.
