Furthermore, more gamers from all around the world will be able to join your PS5 console and instantly start communicating with other gamers and playing the games they love.

How to Link Your Playstation to Your Discord Account

For players to be able to access the service, their Discord and PlayStation Network accounts will first need to be linked. Users will then need to initiate a call using the Discord mobile app before moving it to their PlayStation console.
Keeping this in mind, the very first thing you’ll need to do is check to see if you already have an account with each of these services.
It looks more complicated than a typical PSN party, but those who often play with people on Xbox or PC will likely find it a welcome addition.
After the account has been created, proceed with the procedures that follow to link the two together:
1. Start up your PlayStation and go to the settings menu.
2. Select Users and Accounts from the menu.
3. Choose the Linked Services option.
4. Simply clicking on the newly added Discord ability will kick off the connection procedure.
5. Perform a QR code scan, then enter the code that appears on the screen.
6. After this, the two accounts will be connected.
Using Discord Voice on The PS5

It’s time to start chatting with your buddies from Discord on your PS5 now that you’ve got everything set up and connected between your PlayStation and Discord accounts.
When you pull up the Voice menu on your mobile device, you’ll see a new “Join on PlayStation” option. The desktop version of the button resembles a cross between a mobile device and a gamepad next to it.
You’ll then be prompted to select the device you’d want to use to continue your Voice chat. A little mystical gaming action occurs in the background, and suddenly you’re chatting on your PS5.
All the standard Discord functions, such as pausing a call temporarily to get some snacks in peace or checking the name of the voice channel you’re currently in, are also available on the console.
Using the microphone that is already built into your DualSense controller makes it even quicker to start a conversation.
