What Exactly Is It?

What is the origin of the term “brown noise?”
You may remember from elementary school that the frequency of a sound affects the colour of the sound it produces. Low-frequency sounds, like low-frequency visible light. They are represented by the colour red, for example. However, this type of noise, on the other hand, is referred to as “brown” due to its resemblance to Brownian motion.
This is like white noise, includes all frequencies equally. This means that lower-pitched sounds are louder than higher-pitched sounds.
This has a more calming effect than white noise, which can be jarring for some people. It includes sounds such as crashing waves, torrential downpours, and powerful waterfalls.
What Makes It Different From White and Pink Noise?

Brown noise’s advantages
Many people have promoted brown noise as a stress reliever. “Brown noise that mimics the sound of crashing waves may help some people relax; if this is the case, keep the volume low. However, there is little evidence to support the claim that exposure to brown noise can reduce anxiety.”
We can only speculate because there is very little evidence that this frequency has any effect. Despite the growing interest in the benefits of brown noise, these are the few benefits that can be inferred from studies on small groups of people.
