There are now so many ways you can stamp your personality on your car it is totally unbelievable. Once there was a time when you had to go looking for the changes that you wanted your vehicles to have, even to the point of having certain things made or done in a bespoke manner, but now it seems that most vehicle manufacturers actually want you to add to your vehicle by offering extra items to be bought after purchase as late add-ons.

1. Change the color
There are many different ways you can change the color of your vehicle, whether you are wanting to go out and have a full respray done on your car, which could be expensive, or you are looking more just to have different colored stripes or features added to the exterior paintwork.
Some cars, like the Minis, for instance, are well-known for having different colored roofs to their body, or for that matter, feature wing mirrors. These sorts of finishes can be added to any car, and if you are not keen on having your car resprayed, there is the cheaper option of using vehicle wraps and transfers.
These can be put anywhere on the car, or you can get full-body ones. They will not damage the paintwork underneath so that if for some reason you decide to have your car back to how it was when you purchased it, you can do so quite easily.
2. Get a different number plate
One of the most obvious ways you can stamp your personality on your car is to have a personalized number plate. With so many variations available, it is important that you perform a number plate search to make sure that the collection of numbers and letters that you want is available and can actually be purchased.
As with anything, there are certain rules and guidelines that must be followed when selecting a personalized number plate, and reading up about these in the first instance will ensure that you are not wasting your time looking for something that is not allowed.
3. Invest in a Personalized body kit
Most car models have a body kit available for them so that their owners can make them bespoke to themselves and their personalities. However, with some areas of body kits, it is important that you hire the services of a qualified mechanic to carry out the fitting for you as if it is not carried out correctly, it could not only make your insurance void but could also be potentially dangerous to not the driver and anyone else that happens to be nearby.
In saying this, it is also advisable to purchase your body kits from well-known sources rather than going to someone unknown who may very well be dealing with something that isn’t kosher for your vehicle. You may find that you have wasted your money purchasing something that will not fit or fits particularly badly. Therefore, paying that little bit more to the correct supplier could be a much better deal.
