Tips to Clear SBI PO Exam

Candidates must have a question about how to manage their time while studying for the SBI PO exam test so that they may cover all of the SBI PO Syllabus on time. The SBI Probationary Officer exam preparation guidelines will assist applicants in creating a schedule for all of the parts that will appear in the Prelims and Mains. It is common knowledge that candidates must have a thorough understanding of all subjects to pass this difficult exam. The State Bank of India Probationary Officer Prelims and Mains are extremely competitive exams, and passing them in one sitting is quite challenging. Tips to Clear SBI PO

1. Collect your notes

Only doing basic reading is not very productive. Always keep a record of everything you read. It has been proven that writing helps you remember what you read. However, it is important to create precise notes as it will help you revise before exams. 

2. Divide your task and create a routine

Calculate how much time you have to prepare and then prioritize the things you need to learn first. Make a schedule to fulfill your daily objectives and devote more time to the weakest areas of the curriculum. 

3. Choosing the Correct book for studying

Examine past year’s papers to help you narrow down the syllabus and priorities of the most crucial elements. To prevent wasting time, refer to important books. You can reach out to your teachers and mentors to know more about important books that you can refer to. Make sure to not include too many books as this can cause confusion.

4. Have clear Knowledge about syllabus and exam patterns

Knowing the syllabus very clearly will assist you in creating a study schedule. You might begin your preparation with relevant themes. You must first understand the associated concept before understanding the shortcuts to tackle a problem. 

5. Practice mock test to improve

Mock tests will help you in staying on track and learning from your mistakes. After you’ve practiced, taking a mock test will allow you to get a feel for the real exam. This will also help you determine your weak and strong areas, allowing you to work on weak areas. 

6. Competition

Around 40,000 candidates are expected to pass the SBI PO Prelims test and sit in the SBI PO Mains exam. With roughly 25 lac individuals applying for Prelims, with 50% of them filling out the form only to fill it out, and another 25% not preparing properly for the test, there are only about 5 lac candidates who will prepare seriously for the SBI PO Prelims paper.

Around 8% of these will pass the SBI PO Prelims, thus if one has prepared effectively – analyzing and studying the full SBI PO Syllabus and then solving/strategizing via Prelims Mocks – one’s chances of passing the test are very good. 

7. Find out your weakness

Examine the SBI PO Prelims syllabus and determine which themes are your strong points and which are your weak points. Prepare a study schedule for the following two weeks. Spend more time on the areas where you’re weak and less time on the areas where you’re good. Concentrate on Arithmetic because it will be a big component of the SBI PO Prelims Exam.

Remember that the level of the paper in SBI PO Prelims will be Easy to Moderate, and you must pass both the sectional and overall cutoffs to qualify for the SBI PO Mains paper. As a result, to achieve a high score, you cannot fully disregard any area or topic. 

8. Last week preparation

SBI PO Prelims Mocks should be taken in the last two weeks. Take the SBI PO Prelims practice exams online and analyze them thoroughly. Before going on to the next, concentrate on the gaps you discovered in the analysis. Make sure you don’t waste too much time on any topics that don’t have a significant weightage in the SBI PO Prelims Exam.

Many SBI PO Prelims candidates make the mistake of focusing solely on the number of mocks taken. Instead, as previous PO Toppers have stated, the focus should be on the quality of the mocks, their thorough analysis, and the most effective use of them. 

9. Stayed updated with the latest news

Always stay up to date on current events and breaking news. Concentrate on financial and banking issues. The interviewer might ask you about the current financial matter so it is advised to always stay updated with the current news. 

10. Stay consistent with your focus 

Consistently working on your knowledge, skills, and confidence will help you to improve which will help you in an interview where your impression will be good over the interviewer and also You must also be physically and mentally healthy. As a result, make sure you don’t compromise with your health.

Make sure to create your own strategy instead of following your friends. Your strategy needs to be realistic. It is important that one prepares wholeheartedly for these exams. It includes regular practice, religiously following a timetable, understanding the concepts, making notes of work, giving mocks and other related things, solving question papers, having a focused mind, dedication and concentration.
