TikTok has finally officially launched Pulse after unveiling the program earlier this year. The newly introduced program allows creators with very high engagement rates to earn up to 50% of the ad revenue. All they have to do is keep Pulse ads adjacent to their videos. When TikTok first declared its revenue-sharing program back in May 2022, it did not divulge any definitive release date or timeline for the launch. However, at present, TikTok has officially introduced the program and confirmed the news with a press release. Twitter is bustling with users discussing TikTok’s new program. This program will allow big creators to make lots of money just by placing Pulse ads with their videos.
What is the TikTok Pulse Program?
TikTok Pulse is a recently developed monetization program. The creators have to place ads alongside their content. In this way, they can earn directly from the ad revenue. This new program is only accessible to creators of the top 4% of most engaging videos across multiple categories. The categories range from beauty, fashion, and cooking to gaming and books. TikTok may add more categories or niches later on. However, as for now TikTok has not made any promises. The TikTok Pulse program is now manifesting itself globally as more than 100,000 followers are receiving notifications to join TikTok Pulse and make money by displaying ads.

How does TikTok Pulse function?
TikTok Pulse is a revenue-sharing tool. It is mapped out to reward creators for their profitable engagement while brands can attract more eyes toward them by advertising under the program. TikTok Pulse offers the creators the space to place special contextual advertisements alongside their videos. When the viewers see the video accommodating the Pulse ads, they will also be compelled to see the advertisements. This will reduce the gap between ads and regular content on TikTok.
Contextuality of the ads is the principal reason why TikTok has presently included only twelve popular categories in the Pulse program. Brands hailing from these niches can generate high revenues. All it needs is proper strategies and implementation. In fact, creators will earn a 50/50 share of all the revenue, while TikTok will also keep something for itself in the name of a processing fee. You can better grasp the working of this new program if you compare and analyse TikTok Pulse as a competitor to the Youtube Partner program. However, it’s more connected to Youtube Select as both programs allow the platforms to work with only a limited number of creators to secure brand reputation.
How to join?

TikTok creators who stand eligible for the new Pulse program can now venture out to join the program by tapping on the notification that appears inside the app. Just make sure that you are using the latest version of the TikTok app on your Android or iOS device.
