Jessie previously posted about her miscarriage right after she learned of it—and later deleted it—something she referenced in her newest message to fans.
A month after reporting her pregnancy, Jessie J uncovered the sex of her prospective-born child. The vocalist took to Instagram on Sunday to post an extraordinary video and report that she will have a kid.
The Singer Announced Her Pregnancy in January This Year
Much like the sex of the baby, the news of Jessie’s pregnancy she also announced it on Instagram. She posted an emotional video featuring her song ‘Sunflower’. She says ‘hi’ to her belly as she sings about ‘something’s changed.’ She confirmed the sex of her baby in the caption and wrote, “Since I wrote this song every time I play it or sing it he moves like crazy…so I think this song is the one.”
“Oh yeah…I’m having a boy. And I promise I am wearing underwear,” she added. Her friends and fans sent their wishes to the singer through their comments. The same evening, Jessie made head turns as she looked gorgeous while walking the red carpet of the BRIT Awards.

Being pregnant was “the biggest excitement” of her life. Butt it all fell apart a short while later when she suffered a miscarriage. Now singer Jessie J has spoken out about the daily struggles she faced after losing her baby last year.
On the latest episode of The Diary of a CEO podcast. The British star opened up about her miscarriage. In November she felt lonely and traumatised.
Speaking to host Steven Barlett, the 34-year-old revealed that she woke up feeling strange one morning. instantly she knew something was wrong.
She rushed to the doctor, who then immediately did an ultrasound to check on the baby.
“That dreadful silence when you first have a scan. Also, I was like, just tell me the truth about what’s going on,” she says.
The doctor told her, “Your baby’s heartbeat is very low and there’s this ring.”
When Jessie J asked what that might mean, she was told. She said “It often means your baby will have some type of disability or deformity”.
