The plot of the film
The film is about a group of warriors containing healing abilities and this helps them to live longer. They are not aware of all the details regarding the powers but they use it to save humans. But because of a devious plan, their immortal existence gets revealed to the bad guys. If they get caught all kinds of experiments may get performed on them to know the reason for their immortality. Then a new member joins the team because she also gets the healing power. However, the film ends with an important character which teases us of a possible sequel.
The best aspects of the film
The people who have watched the film on Netflix got impressed by the action sequence. Theron is well known for her acting roles as she played as Furiosa and Aeon Flux effortlessly. So the action roles are not new to her. The film contains a group of immortal superheroes whose existence get disrupted by villains. The group of people after living for so many centuries get weary because of human greed and deception. So there are a lot of realistic emotions portrayed in the film.
This film is now seen as a part of the superhero genre. So the film will surely have a sequel because who will not want to know what happens to the heroes next. The creators have also deliberately given the film a curious ending.
The official news for the sequel did not come from Gina Prince-Bythewood. However, we may hope in a distant future this dream to come true. According to the sources, the film will be a trilogy.
