So Hyun ‘Kkyual’ Kim is an LoL streamer. In fact, LoL players are quite familiar with her name. Well, for those who do not know, LoL is the short form of a popular game named League of Legends. Nowadays, streaming games especially on YouTube and Facebook has become a trend. There are numerous streamers who stream various games from their pages and channels. Moreover, there are some streamers who are followed by millions of people on social media and YouTube.
Kim is also a more or less well-known Lol streamer. However, her recent experience did not go well for her. She faced heavy frustration in the game and ended up being banned for 14 days. Now, this is something really interesting. Read the article to discover more about the incident.
LoL streamer: The Incident
In the gaming world, rivalry is a common thing. In fact, in some instances, these rivalries took up deadly forms. League of Legends, being one of the most widely played games, also shows no exception to this general tendency. Therefore, the toxic rivalry is nothing new here. However, toxicity surpassed every possible limit in the incident involving Kim.
Recently, So Hyun ‘Kkyual’ Kim witnessed tremendous virtual stalking and bullying on the Korean Server of the LoL. In fact, the LoL streamer had a nightmarish experience that she is going to remember throughout her life. According to Redditor Ichsterb, Kim was locked up in a very long game of LoL that lasted for more than three and a half hours. The Redditor also informed that the LoL Streamer was targetted by four-stream snipers in the game. Of these four, two were her own teammates and the other two were from the opposite team.
In fact, these four snipers, by cooperating in the act made sure that the game goes on for a longer span. A surrender was impossible and so the game continued. Kim knew that disconnecting would ban her. Therefore she continued the game and recorded a disastrous 120+ deaths in total. However, this did not save her from getting a ban. Due to her abnormal KDA, she got a 14 days ban, even without any fault on her part.
The After-Story

This three-hour-long match has probably been detected as problematic by Riot’s system. Perhaps for that reason, any related OP.gg pages are not displaying it. Kim has been quite vocal about the issue and she has been seen discussing it in the posts section of her AfreecaTV page. Moreover, it still remains unknown whether the stream snipers have received any penalties or not.
However, this three-hour-long game is not the longest-ranked game in history. This record is held by another game that was played in 2016. In fact, that game lasted for four hours and twenty minutes.
Concluding Lines
In the gaming and streaming world, rivalries are common. In fact, healthy competition is essential for healthy growth. However, at times these rivalries become bullying. This in turn thereby creates an unhealthy atmosphere for others.
The incident involving So Hyun ‘Kkyual’ Kim is such an example. It not only harassed her but also left her banned without any mistake on her part. Therefore, this incident must be set up as a glaring instance for Riot’s system. They should think of new ways to prevent such instances from happening in the future.
