Bodybuilder Andreas Frey died quietly in his sleep just days after his 43rd birthday party, according to German media. Furthermore, Frey Nutrition’s official Instagram page also announced his demise.
“It is with great sadness that we must inform you that Andreas Frey, founder of FREY Nutrition, died in his sleep on the evening of October 20,” they added.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to his deceased’s loved ones, notably his wife Ina and his children Anna and Lisa,” they said. His wife, Ina Frey, co-founder and right-hand lady, will now oversee the business. As a result, the FREY family will continue to run the company under Andreas’s motto: “THE BEST OR NOTHING.”
However, Nobody knows what killed him at the moment. Fans of the bodybuilder sent kind tributes. ‘My heartfelt sympathies,’ one user said. “I am genuinely stunned by this dreadful news; this came as a great shock to me when I read it,” said another social media user. Andreas Frey was born on October 20th, 1979 in Timisoara, Romania. He worked as a professional muscle builder. When he was six years old, his family relocated to Germany. In fact, his grandmother was already in Germany played a significant role in his decision to relocate there.
Furthermore, Frey began training at the age of 15 and competed in his first competition the following year. However, he only made it to third place. Between 1997 and 2005, he competed in bodybuilding events all around the world with various federations.
Andreas found early success in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) and the National Amateur Bodybuilding Association (NABBA). At the height of his stardom, he had a chest injury that effectively ended his bodybuilding career.
Frey spent the last part of his career growing his supplement company, Frey Nutrition, into a global powerhouse. Moreover, he also used to be a coach for a variety of sports teams.
