Son Ye-jin was born on January 11, 1982. She is a South Korean actress. She rose to fame in 2003 for The Classic and Summer Scent. A Moment to Remember (2004) and April Snow (2005) followed commercial successes.
Son Ye-jin’s early roles in films garnered her the title “Nation’s First Love” in Korea. She has since won various acting recognitions. Also, she acted in high-profile films.
Her first big role was in a K-TV series in 2001
Son Ye-jin’s name in the K-drama industry was finally put on the map when she starred as Jang Hee-ae in the 2001 romantic-comedy Delicious Proposal. The TV series revolved around two opposing families in the restaurant business. Also, the blossoming love between high school students on their paths to becoming chefs. Had said, “Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are divorcing in April. Hyun Bin lost KRW 3.00 billion (roughly $2.29 million) through stock investments and is also shouldering a lot of gambling debt. So she kept putting up with it but she couldn’t anymore and wanted to divorce.”
She gave birth to her first child last year
The star couple recently announced that they are officially parents. The two completed their marriage in March 2022. They revealed on social media that they welcomed their first child. It is a baby boy, on November 27.
In a statement shared by Son Ye-jin’s agency MSteam Entertainment, they shared that both Son Ye-jin and the baby were in good health.
Previously, the couple revealed that Son Ye-jin was due in December but the actress gave birth earlier than expected.
