People are wondering if T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach will be fired by ABC News as their employment inquiry into their affair continues. An insider from the network has come forward to shed light on the matter. Continue reading to learn about “GMA3: What You Need To Know’s” future.
Is ABC parting ways with T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach?
Despite the backlash, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ friendship has only grown stronger. The couple’s return to their ABC on-air positions is now in doubt. According to a close source, the co-anchors “had not been dismissed” from the news program.
“There are no discussions concerning their future,” the source stated. ABC is winding up their investigation. ” “While they are unlikely to return in the capacity they were in — the longer time passes, the less likely they are to return — there are still open lines of contact and further discussions about what will happen,” the insider adds.
If you haven’t heard, another source stated earlier this week that there are no grounds to fire the two and that the couple’s love has grown stronger despite the investigation.
“There are no reasons to fire them, and they believe they will not be fired,” said a second source about the couple’s future at ABC. “All the network wants is for things to settle down. This occurs frequently in businesses.”
T.J., on the other hand, is confident that he will remain on the show. “Of course, he’s taking [the evaluation] seriously,” a source said earlier this month.
Moreover, T.J. Holmes is also accused of having sex with a 24-year-old intern at his office while married to his now ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig. He recently filed for divorce while still having an affair with co-host Amy Robach.
What Is the Future of GMA3?
In November 2022, the former CNN anchor made headlines for his months-long romance with his then-married “GMA3” co-anchor, Amy Robach. When the network began an investigation into the nature of their relationship, it was discovered that T.J. had romanced at least two other staffers. It also includes married producer Natasha Singh.
T.J. was embroiled in another controversy earlier this month when a source close to the then-24-year-old intern. Jasmin and Holmes both began working for ABC News in 2014 and shared the same shifts.
In terms of this investigation, ABC is unlikely to fire the two co-anchors.
Rhiannon Ally, Gio Benitez, and Stephanie Ramos, who filled the show’s anchor desk in Amy and T.J.’s absence, are also prospective successors. It is also unlikely that the two will return to GMA3. What are your opinions?
