How To Make a Basic or Single Dutch Braid?

1. Start With Neatly Combed, Dry Hair

To start the Dutch Braid procedure, you must cleanly comb the hair. Ensure that your hair is free from tangles or knots. If your hair is unclear, you can use any smoothing product to tame them, like pomade or serum.

2. After brushing, Gather a Portion from The Hairline

After combing your hair, use your thumb to get one large portion of hair from the front hairline. Ensure that you take a good portion of hair to braid them.

Now, split that huge portion of hair into 3 equal portions. Then, you need to hold the right portion of the strand in your right hand and the other two in your left hand. 

3. Start a Standard Braid

2. Portion The Hair into Two Equal Parts Down The Center

3. Gather a Thin Section of Hair Strands from The Left Side

After separating the hair into two portions, you must brush them cleanly. After that, tie the right strands of your hair and get some thin sections of hair from the left side at the top part. Split them into three equal portions of strands. 

4. Start The Standard Braid
