Skin is the most important and largest organ in our body. It is important to use the right products and Natural Skin Care Ingredients to make sure the skin is completely safe and healthy. Since we all know what self-care is and how important it is to take care of oneself in terms of outer appearance, it is also important to choose the right kind of products. Since there are thousands of products available in the market, everything will not suit us; It is important to choose the right products based on our skin type and skin concerns.
Also, since many hyped products are giving good results for people on social media, it does not mean that it will be working for you too. So choose the right product and make sure the product is used in the right manner too. Indeed, you cannot include many exfoliators or products in the same routine.
Here are some of the combos which should be avoided for better skin:
1. Vitamin C with Retinol
Vitamin C is one of the most hyped products which helps in almost most skincare issues. Retinol is one of the super ingredients which helps in delaying the signs of ageing. And with gradual usage, it even helps in slowly fading away the lines and wrinkles to an extent. It is better to add both in alternative or different routines than mixing them.
Vitamin C can be used in the morning, but never miss to use sunscreen. And retinol can be used in your PM routine for better results.
2. Same Active Ingredient
Active ingredients include AHA, BHA, retinol, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, etc. When you are using any skincare ingredient make sure to have a look at the ingredients list, to make sure you are not overusing an ingredient in the same routine.
For eg, there are moisturisers with the salicylic acid present and serums with retinol present in them. Adding both in the same routine might damage the skin barrier and cause reactions like allergies, bumps, etc. So, make sure to not have two active ingredients in your AM or PM routine.
3. Exfoliators
Exfoliating is an important step in a skincare routine, but it is also important to know that you are not over-exfoliating the skin. This kind of exfoliation might cause dryness or flakiness in the skin, which will result in damaging your skin barrier. So, even if you are using AHA’s and BHA’s never tend to mix or use both in the same facial area or daily. Exfoliate once a week, and use a good hydrating moisturiser for giving moisture back to the skin.
Also if you are using any peroxide or acids, never make two different or the same kind of formulation in the same routine. Since the skin is the biggest organ in the body, make sure to use the right ingredients based on the type and problem in the skin, so that the problem vanishes without damaging the skin.
