Netflix is developing a brand-new political suspense series. The Night Agent, based on Matthew Quirk’s 2019 novel of the same name, depicts the story of a low-ranking FBI agent who is compelled to spend his days in a drab White House office. But one day, he receives a crisis call that pushes him to go on a dangerous scheme.
The Night Agent, based on Matthew Quirk’s novel, follows Peter (Basso), a low-ranking FBI agent assigned to a vacant office in the White House basement whose phone never rings. However, when it does, he finds himself in the heart of a huge, swiftly developing, and incredibly dangerous plot that threatens the White House. He must defend her while also investigating the conspiracy before it becomes a national calamity.
Netflix has recently released a trailer for the show. Moreover, the streaming service has revealed the launch date as well as the first photographs.

In the preview, Peter’s disastrous call arrives on the White House’s emergency line, forcing the authorities to act. A narrator, on the other hand, states, “This is deeper than you realise, and it goes further than you can imagine.”
In the opening montage, we watch Peter rush from his office to the field, where he will investigate the conspiracy. One of the photographs shows Peter wielding a weapon.

In The Night Agent, Gabriel Basso plays Peter and Luciane Buchanan plays Rose. Maddie Redfield (Sarah Desjardins), Vice President’s daughter, Chelsea Arrington (Fola Evans-Akingbola), President’s chief of staff Dianne Farr (Hong Chau), and Ellen (Eve Harlow).
Moreover, Enrique Murciano plays Secret Service Director Ben Almora, while DB Woodside plays Secret Service Agent Erik Monks.
Executive producers include Marney Hochman, Julia Gunn, Seth Gordon, Paul Neinstein, Nicole Tossou, David Beaubaire, Jamie Vanderbilt, and William Sherak, in addition to Ryan.
“Books I Read, Decided to Adapt For Television, and May Already Have Finished Writing the Pilot Episode,” he explained at the time. Ramaa Mosley, Adam Arkin, Millicent Shelton, Guy Ferland, and Seth Gordon are among the series’ directors.

In their investigation, Basso and Buchanan will not be working alone. Maddie Redfield, the Vice President’s teenage daughter, is played by Sarah Desjardins, while the head of Maddie’s security detail is played by Fola Evans-Akingbola. Dianne Farr, the President’s devoted chief of staff, is played by Hong Chau.
Enrique Murciano plays Secret Service Director Ben Almora, DB Woodside plays disgraced former agent Erik Monks, and Chelsea Arrington plays the unpredictable killer Ellen. Dale, Ellen’s equally vicious lover, is played by Phoenix Raei.
