The remaining episodes of You have begun streaming on Netflix about a month after the season 4 debut. The first half of the film was a traditional whodunit that concluded with the identification of the murderer, but the second half took a number of unexpected turns that left audiences startled.
Season 2 has already piqued the interest of die-hard series fans. When will Netflix’s You return for a fifth season, though? If you want to learn more, keep reading.
Will “you” return to Netflix for the 5th Season?

Season 5 of the show has yet to be ordered by the streaming provider. It normally takes the streaming service a few weeks or months to confirm a series’ renewal, so viewers shouldn’t be concerned just yet. It was also never said that Season 4 would be the final, thus there will almost certainly be at least one more.
Although Netflix frequently eliminates shows without notice, it’s quite unlikely that they’ll cancel You due to its popularity. Sera Gamble, the show’s creator, hinted in a recent interview that many more storylines could be added to the series.
“We have a fantastic strategy for Season 5. It was never my plan to write this one down. However, the creators wanted to finish the story once and for all.” What occurred, she explained.
When will the fifth season of You be available on Netflix?
Netflix announced the fourth season in October 2021, and it launched in February 2023, a full 16 months later.
On a podcast, the show’s primary actor, Penn Badgley, discussed the possibility of a fifth season.
He then predicted that there would be only one more season if any at all. This is what I have come to believe, as far as I can tell, but I could be wrong. Yet, I am aware that no one, from the CEO on down, wants the show to lose its lustre. Joe is completely awful at this point. The wittiness of the comedy entirely fades at that time.”

Season 5’s Possible Stories
Joe Goldberg returns to New York at the end of Season 4 after accepting his dismal upbringing and unique personality features. The showrunner has hinted in upcoming episodes that the stalker’s tale may conclude in “some type of justice.”
“Penn, Greg, and I often talk about how fantastic it would be to bring some type of justice to the end of his narrative. “That’s difficult to plot,” Gamble added. The world does not treat people like this well.
Not to mention how adorable he is! He’s also good at avoiding punishment. In the writers’ room, we frequently ask, “What is true justice?” as a broad question. Which of these would be the most damaging to him?”
