Hiking engages a variety of muscle groups, including the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and core muscles. This full-body workout promotes muscle strength, flexibility, and balance. Hiking also places stress on bones, stimulating bone growth and density, reducing the risk of osteoporosis and other age-related bone diseases.
